Privacy policy

How the publisher of Odds Atlas handles personal data under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

1. Who we are

The data controller is Kotarac Media j.d.o.o., registered in the Republic of Croatia. MBS: 081472053. OIB: 54827193462. Registered office: II. Kanalski Put II. Odv. 3, 10000 Zagreb, Croatia. Email: hello@oddsatlas.co.uk.

2. What we collect

We collect only what you send us through the contact form or by email: your name, email address and message. We do not run accounts, newsletters, analytics or advertising trackers, and we do not use cookies to identify you.

3. Server logs

Our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, date, page requested and browser type) to keep the site secure and working. Logs are kept for no longer than 30 days.

4. Why we use it, and on what basis

  • To answer your message: our legitimate interest in responding to readers.
  • To keep the site secure: our legitimate interest in protecting it from abuse.
  • To meet legal obligations, where a law requires us to keep or disclose information.

5. Links to operators

When you follow a link to an operator, you leave this site and the operator's own privacy policy applies. The link carries one tag, utm_source=oddsatlas, that tells the operator the visit came from Odds Atlas. We pass no personal data to operators.

6. Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with the email and hosting providers that process it on our behalf under contract, or where the law requires.

7. How long we keep it

Messages are kept for up to 12 months after the conversation ends, then deleted, unless we need them to deal with a complaint or legal claim.

8. International transfers

If a provider processes data outside the United Kingdom, we rely on UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement.

9. Your rights

Under the UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict its use and, where relevant, take it elsewhere. Write to hello@oddsatlas.co.uk. We reply within one month.

10. Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, please tell us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (opens in a new tab).

11. Children

This site is for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger.
